Festivals and Events

Mountain roots and artistic culture are part of the Georgia reality. It seems there is always a festival or event to attend while you’re here. This area is famous for its mountain music and exquisite folk art. If you check the local calendar, you can find everything from bluegrass festivals to gold panning competitions, fishing tourneys, art fairs, etc. Local hospitality operators will be able to provide an up-to-date schedule of events, or you can find out more through the Blairsville/Union County Chamber of Commerce and Blue Ridge’s All Aboard.
